Windfall for eight Thanet charities from annual London Array Community Fund.
Eight Thanet charities have been awarded a total of £32,500
Since construction in early 2012, RWE-operated London Array has supported charities and community groups in the local area, thanks to the generous input from our shareholders, RWE Renewables, La Caisse, Greencoat and Abu Dhabi Future Energy Company PJSC – Masdar.
Again, for 2025, London Array has worked with Kent Community Foundation who managed the applications and distributed the £38,500 fund on behalf of the wind farm.
For 2025, awards were made available for applicants working within one or more key areas: Environment, Children, Young People and Families, Elderly and Isolated, Employability, Skills and Enterprise and Vulnerable Adults. The charities who best fit with these key areas and the amounts awarded are noted in the table below.
Early in 2026, we will announce the opening date for interested applicants to apply online for next year’s monies via the Kent Community Foundation website.
