London Array and Estuary – an exhibition at the Museum of London Docklands
London Array is currently featuring in Estuary, an exhibition that opened at the Museum of London Docklands in May, as part of the museum’s 10th anniversary.
The free exhibition brings together new and existing pieces of photography, paintings, printmaking and film from the last thirty years and will be on display in the Chris Ellmers gallery until 27 October 2013.
A new film by Nikolaj Bendix Skyum Larsen, entitled Portrait of a River was commissioned in collaboration with the Film and Video Umbrella. The film proceeds downriver, weaving together fragments and traces of the people and the places that define the character of the Estuary. Conceived as a work in several parts, London Array features in one of the new chapters that have been added over the course of the exhibition.
