£1,250 donated to Kent Air Ambulance by London Array, National Grid Electricity Alliance and Trant.

In December a donation of £1250 was given to The Kent Air Ambulance Trust from London Array and two of the contractors, National Grid Electricity Alliance and Trant, who are working on the construction of their new substation at Cleve Hill.

The Kent Air Ambulance is a registered charity established in 1989 to relieve sick and injured people in south east England and surrounding areas by providing helicopter emergency medical services and an air ambulance service for the benefit of the community.

Phillip Tarren, London Array Site Manager at Cleve Hill, said, “Working at a remote location like Cleve Hill we recognise and appreciate the vital services that the air ambulance provides for the community in Kent and wanted to contribute to the service.”

Lynn Hyder, Senior Fundraiser at Kent Air Ambulance said, “The donation from London Array, National Grid Electricity Alliance and Trant will contribute to us being able to continue saving lives in the county.”
