Stephen Reynolds, Offshore Site Manager at London Array, said: “The charity was suggested by Nathan Russell. one of our Offshore Technicians, who has been involved with fundraising for the unit over the last year.  We all agreed and are delighted to be able to support the Special Care Baby Unit.  The funds will help buy extra equipment for the unit, which we know supports babies and their parents in East Kent.”

Rupert Williamson, on behalf of the unit and East Kent Hospital Charity, said: “We are all aware of the local interest in the development of the wind farm and we are very grateful to London Array for their support.  The funds will enable the charity to help make the unit more comfortable and buy the latest equipment.”
